D.S. Family Medicine

About Us

Our Mission

Dr. Szczepanski and her team are on a mission to change the face of medicine and believe that the future of healthcare is not only found in a prescription bottle.  Where science alone falls short, the art of medicine effortlessly fills in the gaps by providing true individualized “whole-person” care; ultimately placing the highest value on the patient-doctor relationship.  This philosophy is truly what defines and sets apart the practice at DS Family Medicine.

Dr. Szczepanski’s staff numbers are more than 20 – her second family, and now she is excited to announce the addition of her new physician, Dr. Spencer Pinion.

“The goal of all my endeavors is to meet each patient in their personal journey by ultimately providing a unique look into their individual needs with regard to understanding how their body is made; and to provide a place where they feel supported and cared for as family—one patient, one plan at a time.” – Dr. Devan Sczcepanski

Spencer Pinion, MD

I grew up in Groveport Ohio and attended Muskingum University for my bachelor’s degree.  I then attended Ross University School of Medicine for medical school.  I completed my education with Family Medicine Residency program at Grant Medical Center. I have spent the last 9 years working for the Cleveland Clinic in Dover Ohio.  In Dover, I was able to do a lot of sports medicine and traditional family/ internal medicine.  I enjoyed my time in the community and working for a traditional medical center but wanted to further services that I could provide in an office setting which is what led me to pursue an opportunity at DS Family Medicine.  I do have a passion for both wellness and chronic disease management.  I have been married to 16 years to Angie who is teaching at Madisonville Jr. High.  I have two wonderful children; Collin is 11yo and Sydney is 10yo.  I have two dogs, Dalton and Wade (big Roadhouse fan) and enjoy family time, outdoors, concerts, soccer, and exercise.  I recently challenged myself and completed my first ½ ironman and am signed up to do another in April, and a full ironman in July.  I look forward to immersing myself in the community and DS Family Medicine.
